Marvellous and good location, fairly nice area, close to the cafes with views over the medieval part of the town and the main square. Besides, easy to get to a house museum.

Caceres doesnt look much on the approach, but it came up trumps! We were travelling with 2 cocker spaniels, the hotel being 'pet friendly' was one of few choices, it was very inexpensive, but central. We had low expectations but were very pleasantly surprisesd, the room was spacious, with a view onto the plaza mayor. Great fun if a bit noisy, but we would expect that. The breakfast was basic but good with great coffee. Helpful receptionist, really great memories. The well preserved medievil walled town is spectacular and 2 minutes from hotel!

Decor was antique and refined. Excellent value as it was only rateed as a one star when it should have been three star - just because there is no lift. Very friendly reception staff and helpful. Top marks for a budget hotel.
Not a thing.

The location of this hotel is excellent being just off but overlooking the main square and only 5 minutes walk from the old city. The staff were most helpful and friendly moving us to a new room when the AC broke down.
Inability to reach the hotel by car. We had to park a few hundred metres away and hump our bags down the hill to the hotel. Inevitably being alongside the main square it can be quite noisy at night.

Perfect location a few steps from Plaza Mayor and the old city. €10 daily parking in Galarza Obispo which is not far, but via quite steep, narrow streets and steps. Hotel reception is on 1st floor and up, access via staircase only. Comfortable rooms and good bathroom. Fairly basic but plentiful continental breakfast. No other facilities in the hotel, but not needed as everything is available nearby. Friendly, helpful staff, with good English.
Can be noisy at night, but fine with windows closed.
